i am running openvas9 on ubuntu and try to activate omp. techdoc says to activate omp via cli which i dont have, so commands like “get public_omp” doesnt work. is there any other way to activate omp?

i just read that omp is deprecated and should not be used, theres an updated tool “gvm-tools”.
well, i wanted to activate omp, simply because techdoc says i need to, for connecting openvas with our nagios system.
so i would prefer install gvm-tools since omp is deprecated. do i need to activate it as well, or can i just simply use it?
