Could not be resumed by admin

Hi,

When I try to schedule any of the IP Address, wherein I could get below mentioned error message.

event task:MESSAGE:2019-08-12 17h55.05 UTC:65229: Task Scheduling IP’s-Test (0d3a30cc-ea0a-4c26-b6c6-cebc4cd93bed) could not be resumed by admin.

Could you please check and let me know what am suppose to do with this issue?

Thanks,
Nagaraj

Can you restart the task?

When choosing the category for a topic please try to have a look at the category description for each category first:

The current used category is/was https://community.greenbone.net/c/vulnerability-tests (Description: About the Vulnerability Tests category) which is about vulnerability tests (the so called “NASL scripts”).

As you’re having a problem when running / scheduling a task within GVM which is completely unrelated to the vulnerability tests itself the category https://community.greenbone.net/c/gse (Description: About the Source Edition (GSE) category) needs to be chosen.

I have moved the topic to the correct category for now.

You could try to first help others to help you by providing more information about your environment. e.g. mandatory information like versions of the GVM components are completely missing from your post.

Using the search functionality of the forums with a search term like e.g. https://community.greenbone.net/search?q="could%20not%20be%20resumed%20by%20admin" could also help to find existing threads:

Hi,

Please let me know which one to be restarted the task?

Please find the details accordingly.

I have updated all the packages in Centos, but not sure all of a sudden i have received the error message after the scheduling the task.

Following packages has been installed on CentOS Linux release 7.6.1810 (Core)

gvmd-8.0.0-6928.el7.art.x86_64
gvm-libs-10.0.0-6924.el7.art.x86_64
gvm-tools-1.4.1-6952.el7.art.noarch
gvmd-8.0.0-6928.el7.art.x86_64

When comparing this versions with the list of GVM-10 (end-of-life, initial release 2019-04-05) - Greenbone Community Edition - Greenbone Community Forum it seems you’re running outdated versions of the GVM components. Please update all components to the recent versions (especially the GSA beta version) and try again.

Hi,

Thanks for the information
Could you please let me know the latest rpm or atomtic package in centos do we have it?

Greenbone doesn’t provide any packages / repositories or has any knowledge about the status of such 3rdparty repositories. Please contact the maintainer of your used repository and ask for an update of the components.
