Disabling SELinux

Hello everybody,

I hope I am in the right area here. I wonder why I have to disable SELinux for OpenVAS so it runs. To illustrate it: I have to deliberately adjust my configuration just so that OpenVAS runs?

Short answer: We don’t use SELinux in our products.

Long answer: We depend on the community to provide a documentation on how to configure SELinux to work with our scanner. This is an issue for several years already but until now nobody came up with writing these docs.
