Gvmd, updating port list?

Hello,

GVMD comes (like previous version) with an outdated port list from 2012… Apparentely there is a way to update those port lists, but I can’t figure out which XML format is expected. I tried with the XML exports from IANA but it fails.

Is there any specific syntax for this port list or tweaks to work ? Or is this function unuseable yet and replaced by the gvm gvm-portnames-update script instead ?

Sounds like this issue is a “put under the carpet” problem. I remember having raised that same issue with OpenVAS 9, and never got any replied. Seems like the same with GVM-11 :frowning:
