Hostnames not getting recorded in assets?

I’m trying to understand why hostnames don’t get recorded in Assets. Reverse dns works fine and also, it seems GSA sees the actual hostnames because the correct hostnames shows up under the Results output under the Name column. But assets only shows IPs.
