How do I assign permissions to a group?

Hello, I am trying to figure out how to assign a permission to a group. I have created a group of our domain admins. However, it seems in order to give them any permissions that I still have to go into each user and assign roles individually. However, I feel like this defeats the purpose of a group.

I’m not sure what I am missing here. I’ve read the help, but it doesn’t exactly go into detail on this.
