Issues on kali 2020

I just installed openvas on my new kali release and are having some issues with it. When i access the web admin page it gives me the warning SecInfo Database Missing. I have tried the openvas-feed-update and it runs without complaining but it doesnt really download anything
When i run openvas-start i get the following
`kali@kali:~$ sudo openvas-start

Hi, i recently installed this on Kali 2020 a couple of days ago. I didn’t encounter these issues but i followed this guide https://sadsloth.net/post/install-gvm11-src-on-debian/

You need to edit CMakeLists.txt to compile the scanner amending this line in the file

set (CMAKE_C_FLAGS_DEBUG "${CMAKE_C_FLAGS_DEBUG} -Werror -Wno-error=deprecated-declarations ")

After this everything works great, albeit for me the reports are really slow in viewing them after a scan. Still not got to the bottom of this. Hope this helps!
