Kali The Redis Database does not exist

when running gvm-check-setup

i get

WARNING: The Redis Database does not exist
FIX: Run sudo runuser -u _gvm – openvas -u

ERROR: Your GVM-11 installation is not yet complete!

I run the fix and then rerun the check and get the same warning. Can not get gvm to work. Please help.

You can reference from https://bugs.kali.org/view.php?id=6624, it has no affect for check .Also you can delete this check in the script usr/bin/gvm-check-setup

This is an issue in the gvm-check-setup script provided by Kali where Greenbone isn’t involved so i’m closing this thread. Please monitor the Kali Bugtracker above or ask for a status there.
