I’m trying to configure authentication via LDAP. My understanding is that the manager performs an anonymous bind to the LDAP server
LDAP is enabled via GSA in the Administration - LDAP window.
The checks for Auth. DN pass and a correct certificate chain is uploaded.
From the GVMD log:
lib ldap: StartTLS failed, trying to establish ldaps connection.
lib ldap:warning: LDAP anonymous authentication failure: Protocol error
In my case anonymous binding is disabled on the LDAP server and cannot be enabled. Is there any way to perform a non-anonymous bind? I don’t see any options in the GSA. Or does any other version of GVM supports it?
