OpenVAS continuos error " Internal error: get_many:2338 (GSA 7.0.2) "

I have installed open openVAS on Centos 7
Version from atomic repository
Greenbone Security Assistant Version 7.0.2
OpenVAS Scanner 5.0.1
Openvas 8.

Here is the check setup for v7 and 8, It really not making any sense if I am using v 9, why they will show here as faulty version?

if you compare those versions with the recent releases of OpenVAS / GVM 9 listed here:

you can see that those are quite outdated. It could be possible that your seen issue is already solved in the most recent versions. Unfortunately Atomic currently seems to have some issues with building newer packages:

those need to be installed in any particular order or can it be totally random?

The INSTALL files in each module provide hints for building.
A sensible sequence is smb(optional), libs, scanner, manager, gsa.

thank you for the suggestion, that was what I was looking for, a sequence suggestion. The OS that I am familiar with is CentOS would that be recommended platform?

Well, the recommended platform is Greenbone OS, of course.

It is a Debian derivative and Greenbone has a natural focus to get all working in this world.
