Have some troubles in compiling from source GitHub - greenbone/openvas-scanner: This repository contains the scanner component for Greenbone Vulnerability Management (GVM). If you are looking for the whole OpenVAS framework please take a look at https://community.greenbone.net/t/frequently-asked-questions-faq/5558. cmake was done successfully, but make failed with:

Any clue how to sort it out?

Please don’t build from our development branches (main) if you are not following our changes very closely. The development branches can break every time. Please use the stable branches instead.

Dispite that you can’t mix components from different major releases. That means if you are using GVM 21.04 all components need to be from this version. It is not possible to use for example gvm-libs 21.04 with openvas-scanner from master branch.
