Knowing that the latest development is being done now on Bullseye, I was wondering if the team is planning to move to a newer version of Postgresql in the future?

We’re following the current stable release of Debian (Bullseye as of this post) so as they update the shipping versions of PostgreSQL (currently 13.*), we’ll follow also follow along with our compatibility testing with some delay for integration/interoperability checks. You can build against different versions but there might be issues we’re not aware of.
