i have GVM-11
under Kali Linux 2020.2
I’ve just installed the openvas , setup and all , my problem is when i try to launch a Scan for ( the first test ) it didn’t work showed an error i kept digging through the logs and i found ( It was not possible to start the scan,because a pending feed update. Please try later )
i’ve found some other post about this , they said running -sync commands as the following ,
for me these were the output :
greenbone-nvt-sync did not show anything and returned to bash
greenbone-scapdata-sync was ok
greenbonee-certdata-sync was ok
and then re-ran the scan same error kept showing , i also used --rsync but did not work
from what i’ve learned that u cant run a scan when the feed is updating , but i don’t see a updating feed here , and i gave it time if something was running in background but no , can u please help me into this .
