I looked at frequently answered question but could not find answer on how to update gvm libararies, if i update Openvas 9 to Openvas 10/11 will that resolve the issue. I noticed the openvas migration script, will that fix my issue? if it does how does the migration script work?

First of all there is no OpenVAS 10 or 11 as you can read from the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
If you read the FAQ further you will understand that there is not such a thing like an update script. Our software contains several components which you need to update all at once. If you did build it from source you have to do it by yourself and carefully read all release docs of all components. If you are using binary packages from a distribution of kali please see the FAQ again!
