Vulnerability Assessment without Vulnerability Scanner

Hi

Is there a way to Vulnerability Assessment without Vulnerability Scanner, for example paste my package name and version and release info and scan for vulnerability.

I have found what I Need with Vulners - Vulnerability Data Base , but there is alot of false positives.

so can I do the dame thing with openvas?

There isn’t a a feature for assessing without doing a scan, but hopefully you find something that works to your needs. :slight_smile:
