I’m closing this thread as a duplicate of the following thread below where the answer was given that the GCE doesn’t provide any API access.
If you need external API access a switch to the GSE seems to be required. Further questions on this topic could be created in the GSE category then.
There is also a separate category for GMP (the replacement for OMP) available which can be used for various topics around using the API.
