502 Bad Gateway

Hi,

I am getting error “502 Bad Gateway” while logging into openvas in browser.

Use this category for all topics (General discussion of results, reporting of false positive / negative results, VT development) around vulnerability tests (the so called “NASL scripts”).

Please chose a different/better fitting category for all topics related to GVM (Installation, Usage, Configuration, Scanning).

Hi @Pooja and welcome to the forum

We’ll need some more information to be able to help. To start with- which version are you using, how did you install it and which operating system are you using? Thanks!

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I am using Greenbone Security Assistant Version 21.4.3.
I have installed this on docker.

When I checked the error message, I got below listed 2 errors:

  1. Could not connect to Scanner
  2. Interrupting scan because GVM is exiting.

Any solution on this error, please suggest.

When I start a scan in OpenVAS (Greenbone Security Assistant Version 21.4.3) it immediately stops the scan with the status “interrupted at 0%”. When I checked the error message, I got below listed 2 errors:

  1. Could not connect to Scanner
  2. Interrupting scan because GVM is exiting.

Any solution on this error, please suggest.

Hi @Pooja,

I’ve combined the two threads because I think they might be related (they can be split back out later if not).

Are you connected directly to the internet or running through a proxy?
