Hello Community,

gvmd.log

md manage:WARNING:2020-09-09 16h06.28 CEST:32167: manage_send_report: mkdtemp failed
md gmp: INFO:2020-09-09 16h06.28 CEST:32167: Failed to parse client XML: Internal Error.

BTW: If I start an scan the following entry appears in ospd-scanner.log:

2020-09-09 16:20:53,516 OSPD - openvas: DEBUG: (ospd.server) New connection from /opt/gvm/var/run/ospd.sock
2020-09-09 16:20:53,528 OSPD - openvas: DEBUG: (ospd.server) Client closed the connection
2020-09-09 16:20:53,528 OSPD - openvas: DEBUG: (ospd.ospd) Empty client stream
2020-09-09 16:21:53,362 OSPD - openvas: DEBUG: (ospd.server) New connection from /opt/gvm/var/run/ospd.sock

Does that have anything to do with each other?
Any ideas?
Thanks for help

Any thoughts on this? I’m seeing the same issue on a clean install on Kali.

Seems like this bug is back in 21.04.4dev1. I’ve upgraded from 21.04.2 (working install) to 21.04.4 and now gvm fails to access reports with the same error.

It’s likely due to a new variable set after 21.04.3; but which one ? I’ve tried GVM_TMP_DIR or GVM_TEMP_DIR but that doesn’t help.

Any clue ?
