Hi guys,
My VM has 4 cores 16GB ram 80GB HDD but I dont know why is too slow the scanning even if I have the NTVs per host 20 and scanned hosts 20 (also its running Scanner: OpenVas Default, scan config full and fast and /24 is the range of the IPS.
There is any other way to take more advantage of all the resources as this VM only runs Openvas but it takes too much time to end a task

It fully depends on you network, hardware used for virtualization, scheduler, your scan config. It is impossible to give you any advice from remote without much more details on your network setup a firewall or nat gate in place and your alive criteria plus any timeouts. If you scan against 65535 ports with a 20 second default timeout you can easy see why it’s slow.
