Product based scan configuration?

On a GCE 20.08 system I’d like to define custom scan configs.
Based on the vendor/product (taken from OID) I’d like to have all NVTs that match this product vendor (dynamically, not just one time).

What would be the best method to achieve this? The UI based configuration only allows family-based or static definitions.

I could think of GMP get_nvts and then filter for OID starting with the vendor/product OID and then using the results. Has anyone done sth like this before?

That is what “Full & Fast” is doing automatically , if a product is detected it will get scanned based on the product detection, protocol and port. You still can clone full & fast and disable product families.
