when i am doing some research about redis in-memory database in reference to OpenVAS/GVM, i dont know what KB is standing for.
For example:
Redis (http://redis.io) is used to store and access the KB
Whats KB?

Knowledge base (KB) A knowledge base (KB) is a technology used to store complex structured and unstructured scan and meta information during the scan only for the time of the scan task.
Scan results are compiled from nvt-results and data and meta data from the KB.
