Hi,
When applying filters giving it a name it does not give any results.
“The Report is empty. The filter does not match any of the 566 results.”
“Current applied filter is: ~test apply_overrides=0 min_qod=70 first=1 rows=10 sort=name levels=hmlf”
Just filter it works fine.
This function worked several times after initial installation but with no changes it stopped working.
Any ideas?
Environment:
Greenbone Security Manager 5.0.10

Hi wksantiageo.
Here is what I understood from your message:
You are looking at a report.
Your currently used filter is:
“~test apply_overrides=0 min_qod=70 first=1 rows=10 sort=name levels=hmlf”
You don’t see any results.
In case of missing results the GUI shows you 4 big icons how to solve this. Try them in the following order:
Include log messages in your filter settings.
Decrease the minimum QoD in the Filter to 30 percent to see those results.
Edit the filter (by removing the ~test from it)
Remove all filters settings
Did any of these steps show you the desired results?

Tino correctly understood.
When I do the following:
Include log messages in your filter settings.
I get 5 log records out of 566
Decrease the minimum QoD in the Filter to 30 percent to see those results.
Same result
Edit the filter (by removing the ~test from it)
Then all is normal, all OK
Remove all filters settings
Strange I get 551 of 566 results but only 10 results show on report.
Thanks,
Tino

When you say “only say 10 results shown in the report”, do you mean 10 results shown in the Report:Results-View?
This view shows by default only 10 rows. You can go the the next 10 results by clicking on the arrow to the right on the right hand top or bottom of the page.
Or did you export the results into a report file? If so which report format did you use?
Yes correct in the Report:Results-View
I tried it again today and I get this time 5 logs so 1-5 of 5
I did not export the results into a report file
Seems like the results of the report and the filter are not applying correctly when saving a title. As soon asyou do not use a filter name is all OK.

Check the rows=10 and change it into rows=100, does this help ?
You can see your actual applied filter below the results on the bottom of the page.

It defaults to Result per page = 100
I tried changing this to 10
same results.
